The Task
As you know we have
been studying about pollution, the different kinds and how it affects our daily
life. As a final project for this unit
you will create either a brochure demonstrating the content you have learned
about pollution or write a letter to the editor of the Richmond Register
stating your position on pollution and what you want the city to do about
it. It is important that you do your
very best on this assignment because it will be displayed for the public to
see. This is a very big part of your
unit grade. Please see the attached
rubric for all the details your project must include. You have one week to complete this
assignment.
Making the
Brochure:
The brochures are
going to be displayed at the Science Fair at a booth with our classes name on
it. Not only will your friends see it
but the parents of our school will too.
In making the brochure, you must demonstrate everything you have learned
about pollution over the last two-weeks.
You must include graphics. Show
what the different kinds of pollution do to our environment.
